A restaurant named for the street on which it resides, Forty Four dazzles on and delights.
Located in the lobby of the iconic Royalton hotel, this Roman and Williams designed space provided LMNOP with many moments of inspiration for a brand refresh. The line work that makes up these patterns is inspired by the nautical ropes in the restaurant's interior. We significantly pared back the logo, giving it a much needed update that allows the ropes the shine as the main graphic element of the brand. We also felt it important to develop a system that kept the hotel's brand color, which just happens to be our favorite blue.
