Real estate developers, District Hudson, came to us to create a brand identity that spoke to their values. They take pride in being conscientious about the properties they buy and renovate, always trying to maintain the character of the neighborhood.
Many of their properties in Baltimore have a transom window above the door, so we took that idea and created a doorway with a transom above it out of the letters D and H. We wanted to make sure the style of the brand-mark fit within their largely traditional aesthetic, but we paired it with a sans-serif font to represent the new take they apply to the buildings they renovate.
